RollerCoaster Tycoon is the successor of the succesful RollerCoaster Tycoon. The appearance of the game remained about the same, so people can work with the same old trusted interface. RCT 2 stand now more dominated by SixFlags. 5 SixFlags parks have been reconstructed, with the additional 25 roller coasters. You can also reconstruct a 'SixFlags roller coaster', and then compare it with the tracks which were built by SixFlags-experts.

This new game contains small and big changes. Small changes like new coaster trains, big changes like a completely new type of roller coaster. New stores have been added, like a first aid post. Hyper-coasters have a new 'lift-technique'; a cable. A cable hoists a train much faster to the top. You can also build separate load- and unloadstations. Another new feature is that you can place many boats, trains etc. on a track without the need of a very long station.
Two new large additions are the roller coaster-editor and the scenario-editor. Now you can build your own scenarios and roller coasters while time has stopped.
